My Daily Exploration of Marketing Strategy & Systems Begins Today!
Today I start my 30 days of online writing as part of Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole’s cohort-based course, Ship 30 for 30.
Here’s why I’ve chosen to write every day:
In the summer of 2021, I started seeing fascinating short essays in my Twitter feed.
As I consumed these essays over the next few months, I discovered why they existed (the Ship 30 for 30), who was behind the program, and the reason the essays had so much traction and engagement (people from all walks of life were developing a habit around their writing — and support others doing the same).
So, I went down the rabbit hole of research into the Ship 30 for 30 program, and discovered it’s about far more than writing — it’s also about developing and expressing of ideas more effectively.
I’m looking for feedback. As much as possible.
In my business, I spend a lot of time writing about and teaching ideas that aren’t always easy to grasp at first glance. This process provides an opportunity to find out what works (so I can do more of it), and what falls flat (so I can stop wasting my and my readers’ time).

I’m in search of an audience.
Professionally, I serve two audiences: marketing service providers (to whom I license my consulting process) and small business owners (who I teach how to be more strategic in their marketing). I’m well known in a very small circle — and am aiming to find a way to expand my reach and share my message further through online writing.
Over the next 30 days, I plan on writing about marketing strategy, marketing systems, and expanding business revenue.
